About Us
History
UT law student, Ned Granger, founded Roberts Pest Control, Inc. in 1959. While living in student housing, he began to have problems with pests and he found that a person with limited resources had very few options. After investigating the industry, Mr. Granger purchased the necessary materials to establish Roberts Pest Control.
Rock T. Thweatt started working for Roberts Pest Control, Inc. in 1980, while a student at Southwest Texas State University. Within six months, Rock was promoted to manager. In 1995 Rock purchased the company and changed the name to Roberts Termite and Pest Control, Inc.
Staff
Our success is directly related to our courteous office staff and technicians and the service they provide. Each technician has an average of 10 years of on-the-job experience and all attend regular office and industry sponsored seminars on the latest proven industry techniques. The technicians are licensed, bonded, and a general liability policy is enforced for your protection. Bilingual technicians and office personnel are available when needed.

Rock was raised in Cameron, Texas and moved to Austin in 1980. He began working for Roberts Pest Control, Inc. in 1980, while attending Southwest Texas State University. He was quickly promoted to manager, purchased the company in 1995 and changed the name to Roberts Termite and Pest Control, Inc. Rock is a certified applicator, licensed by the Structural Pest Control Service of Texas and has over 27 years of experience in the pest control industry. In his spare time, Rock likes to stay active. His hobbies and interests include golf, tennis, basketball, hunting, fishing and more.
Robert was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He began working with Roberts Termite and Pest Control, Inc. in 1988. Robert is a licensed technician, licensed by the Structural Pest Control Board of Texas and has over 18 years of experience in the pest control industry. In his spare time, Robert likes to spend time with family and friends. His interests and hobbies include knife collecting and rodeos.
Josh was born in Seguin, TX but was raised in Luling, TX. Josh is a certified apllicator, licensed by the Structural Pest Control Service of Texas and has multiple years of experience in the pest control industry. A father of a beautiful four year-old girl and one year-old son. Josh enjoys fishing and watching sports in his spare time.
Ray Lopez was born and raised in Kyle. He is proud to reside in South Austin for the past 30 years. He has been a certified applicator since 1998.
Belinda Gates has been in Austin since 1998 after moving from Colorado. She is married with 3 children and one Grandson. She enjoys hockey, fishing, camping and spending time with her grandson.
Aurora Trujillo was born and raised in Austin, Tx. She has been married for 10 years and has 4 children. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
